Hey! What's up? I'm Shannon. Welcome to the channel: This is moments before I gave up eating meat captured in the Parisian streets. I am so grateful I spent the money I had to spend on this trip and that I did it alone. The hardest part about this trip was saying goodbye to 姥姥 my Grandmother & my pet Vincent. Interesting how one year prepares us for the next. My two grandmother's taught me that life is meant to be enjoyed. Both of them survived a war and wished it upon no one. I look at my life and I didn't need a man to enjoy my life. I needed a man to learn about life, sure, but not to be happy when I was all by myself and unsupervised. I'm so glad I didn't buy anything luxury designer besides my Apple Watch to which I still use until this day, because even the few leather pieces cut my heart to pieces thinking about how they were murdered for me to be happy. I guess in a society where human warfare is accepted, what's a lamb's life to us right? No. Wrong. Think about things my fellow Earthlings. How do you feel about Museums? I love looking at historical beautiful items, especially the statues, because they're made of such precious Earthly Materials such as marble, bronze, & stone. It really took my soul back to a time where all this existed within nature. It felt like a right to enjoy back then, now I'm not so certain how I feel about paying to see stolen art. Unfortunately, I'm now in the USA for family matters and Taiwan is on soft lockdown due to the Pandemic, so we couldn't go back to re-film it. However, needless to say, I was lucky I had booked plans with friends before my grandmother passed away, because it allowed me to heal a lot of sorrow in a time of bitter sweet grief. HouJie is the smartest artist, designer, and innovator I have ever met in Taiwan. She is a genius and we share a similar sense of humor, so we always have a great time. However that's not what I want to talk about. Today in this episode of Shannily Speaks I want us to be able to find a way to heal together and move forward. It is my belief that before we could expect other races to treat us as equals we have a lot of healing to do amongst our own community and we can only do that together.
